from the Convention Center and 4 blocks from the Inner Harbor, the 1840s Ballroom
is within walking distance of many Baltimore-based corporation headquarters and
close to hospitals, colleges and universities. Enter through the wrought-iron
gatehouse and leave the city bustle behind as you escape to a serene garden courtyard.
The 1840s Ballroom, located on the fourth floor of the Fava Building, provides an elegant and spacious layout for corporate events, accommodating up to 150 guests seated classroom-style or 200 with theater-style seating. The space can be divided for breakout groups. Several additional floors of the building are available (1840s Cabaret, 1840s City Lites and 1840s Salon) as well as conference rooms in the neighboring historic Carroll Mansion and 1840s Carrollton Inn, just across the courtyard. Invite attendees to enjoy the gardens for an outdoor lunch break or reception following a long day's work.
Corporate meeting attendees enjoy complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access. Audio-visual rentals are also available. Our helpful and knowledgeable staff will assist you with planning each detail for a successful event. A caterer may be chosen from our approved list.
